American Emily Martin, soprano, (www.emilycmartin.com) has performed numerous operatic roles including productions with the Santa Fe Opera, Chautauqua Opera, and Palm Beach Opera. She often appears in concert, and appearances include performances at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall in New York City and as a soloist with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. The 2016-17 season finds Ms. Martin in both opera, concert and recital repertoire around the United States and Europe. Opera performances include Alice Ford in Falstaff and the world premiere of Garrett Fisher's The Passion Trilogy in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Martin has just been announced as a finalist in the Friedrich and Virginia Schorr Memorial Award in Voice.
Soprano Elizabeth McDonald recently has presented recitals at the Universities of Toronto, Lethbridge and Bimiji State, St. George's Cathedral in Kingston, and the Canadian University Music Society 2017 Conference. She has appeared with the National Ballet Orchestra, the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, and the Kingston Symphony. A young artist with the Santa Fe Opera and the Canadian Opera Company, Elizabeth understudied and performed major roles including Elettra in Mozart's Idomeneo, The Woman in Schoenberg's Erwartung, and Jenufa in Janecek's Jenufa.
Dr. Kathryn Tremills, piano, has been described by the press as "a brilliant pianist", "a performer of amazing technical artistry and mature virtuosity" and "a remarkably perceptive and gifted musician." In addition to performing on numerous concert series including the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival, Off Centre Music Salon, Canadian Art Song Project, Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre Thursday Noon Concerts and Pro Musica Detroit, Kathryn has been on the musical staff at the Canadian Opera Company. Twice a Canada Council Grant recipient, she has also appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras in North America. She recently released her latest chamber music album, Piano Centric.
